Operation Easter Egg: Will you locate the golden Easter egg?

Like last year, we celebrate spring together with you and with our special event, called Operation "Easter Egg". We have hidden a "green" and sustainable Easter egg in 115 Greenwheels cars, distributed throughout the Netherlands. A little something extra - and yes, it's finders keepers! This year there is one very special Easter egg: a golden one!

From 7 to 10 April 2023 it's Easter weekend. It starts on Good Friday and ends on Easter Monday. For many Dutch people it is the time to go out and about again. To family for an Easter brunch or into nature for some much needed vitamin D. Haven't got a clue what to do on these special days? We've got 10 sustainable activities for the Easter weekend of 2023 (in Dutch, use Translate).

An extra special Easter weekend

For the second time, we are making this beautiful spring weekend extra special: in no less than 115 Greenwheels cars you will find a special Easter egg during the week of Easter. That egg is a sustainable gift itself - and not made of chocolate (sorry). Good to know: you don't have to mess up the car, you can spot the Easter egg almost immediately when you get into your Greenwheels car.

In all car types

You can find the Easter eggs in all our cars, so both in our

  • compact city car (the VW Up!)
  • electric Seat, e-Golf or Skoda
  • station wagon (Golf Variant) and
  • Caddy van

Have you already booked a car for the Easter weekend? You might find it in your Greenwheels!

Search no more

Looking for hidden Easter eggs is fun, but walking through a neighbourhood looking for your shared car is not. That is why we choose station-based car sharing: every car has its own, designated location. You pick it up there and put it back. This is in contrast to free-floating car sharing.
