Frequently asked questions
There are no kilometre or time restrictions on using Greenwheels shared cars. You can book a shared car for as long and as often as you need. There is also no minimum number of trips or kilometres you should book or drive.
You can book a Greenwheels car per 15 minutes, far in advance or just before heading out the door. Plans can change, which is why you can always cancel your trips free of charge. With the Zzp Pro and Business rates, you can also shorten your current trip. Using Greenwheels for your business trips is very flexible.

Every Greenwheels shared car has its own fixed, designated location. This is a parking space, reserved for that specific car. It’s the location from where your trip starts and also where you have to return the car at the end of your booking. This is how you can book a Greenwheels car far in advance and you will not have to look for a parking spot when you return. You don't have to pay a parking fee for this designated location.
Going out by car and parking it somewhere else? At that location you will have to arrange and pay for the parking yourself.
With Greenwheels, car insurance is included in the hourly and kilometre rates.
Every car is third-party insured including passenger insurance. This means that damage to third parties as well as the passenger(s) is covered. Your personal belongings you take with you in the car are not covered by this insurance. We cannot be held liable for theft of or damage to your belongings.
For damage to the Greenwheels car, you have a deductible that you can adjust per trip. You can do this when you book a car.
We send an invoice after your trip. You can choose to pay by credit card (Mastercard or Visa) or direct debit via iDEAL.
We charge a one-off deposit when you sign up. We do this to ensure that your Greenwheels car is used with care.
